Ebay might give a £40 saving on a used GTX970.

A used AMD FX-8350 on ebay might save me £30 over a new one. Is peace of mind worth a £30 saving?

That’s new, of course. Worth checking the used market first.

My CPU is also a bit borderline. Looks like an 8-core upgrade would be about £130. New graphics card, another £200.

Steams VR test agrees that I need a new graphics card. Can’t get anywhere close to 90fps, let alone consistently.
