Purity is an exceptionally delicate thing.

I mean that literally. If you’ve set up somewhere as a place just fo one interest or type of person, it’s easy for other things to threaten.

And if you set up an isolated land of extremists? Good luck getting new people in, or getting yourself out. Desent will not be tolerated.

“The Dream Islands” would only work with true obsessives. Extremists. You need connection to overarching civilisation.
