This time I’ll dig out some better cable instead of just cutting out the bad bit.

I am reasonably convinced Wacom deliberately use terrible quality USB cables because that & the nib are the only parts you could wear out.

“USB device has stopped working” which translates to “The cable inside your Wacom tablet is breaking again”
