No one seems to sell 1-1/4″ NPS plugs off the shelf. Making one myself is seeming more likely as a tapered one is an iffy solution.

I’ve never even seen an NPS thread before, but it’s the only parallel thread with 11.5 tpi pitch.

After a few hours measuring, can confirm that what DeVillbiss told me was complete BS. Thread appears to be 11.5tpi NPS. Not UNF at all.
