It amazes me that we’ve had an iterative history and layers in graphics software for decades, but no one’s merged the two.

Nothing is devastating to a digital artist like doing something perfect 1st time, then having to undo it all b/c it’s on the wrong layer.

Putting this unused idea into the public domain right now; Graphics software that lets you convert your action history into image layers.

I would love Paint Tool SAI to allow you to convert your History to Layers. Imagine; no having to delete & redo, just which layers to merge.

Is it rude to make a feature-request for future versions of a piece of software?
