You give MPs less than 24hrs to review new legislation? Well if it passes then it should only be in law for less than 24hrs.

How about this; any proposed law rushed to vote will only be in law for the same period of notice given over the vote for itself.

We have months of planning consultations put in law over people putting in private loft-conversions, but not to review new national laws??

I understand that in emergencies, legislation may need to change quickly. But recently it’s been soley used to make law without oversight.

Honestly? No law that needs to be rushed through should placed into effect perminantly.
