  1. At least that explains why you thought it prudent to snap at me. The reason I was standing there like a total lemon while you were packing and moving away was because I didn’t know whether to help or not – I did ask for help to choose between a small or a medium size and ended up messing up your clipboard and not getting served. I’d been looking forward to grabbing a t-shirt, but now it seems that I’m now going to have to pay extra for P&P if I take it from the web-shop, or just go without for yet another year before I go to a LF meet again. It’s also not as if I wasn’t trying to find you before your storming off.

FFS, I was on first aid duty. If you told Lupus of your wounds, I’d have been referred to help you, which is my moral duty. My day wasn’t any better; most ignoring me too and seeing furs who said they wanted to see me in person totally drunk and not bothering saying hello to me neither. Not that my wounds are physical like yours, so my whinging doesn’t count.

Maybe you should start a pre-ordering system, and then only bring the amount of items [+1 or 2] that have been pre-ordered.

  2. You were on first-aid duty and didn’t think to mention it despite my hand bleeding enough that there was blood on the stock form you were looking at?

  3. I saw no blood on the stock form. I also did not see your hand bleeding. Since you spoke of it in the past tense, I assumed it was sorted out – more so, since you decided to serve someone else [and I’m sure you know better than to bleed over someone’s order].

I’m afraid I have a degree in chemistry, not mind-reading.

  4. Fortunately I can tell my left and right hands apart, so was careful to use the correct one when handing over the shirt. Said person I served was one of the contest shirt winners which the LondonFur committee had already paid for and I was obligated to hand over if I had the chosen item in stock with me. Aside from that, the shop was supposed to have shut up at 6pm as I stated in the attendance thread. It had already been kept open for an hour on top of that and been closed for another half hour or more when the contest winners were announced. Cash-box sorted and locked away, everything strapped down to the cart, and cart parked in the staff-only area.

Stop acting so petulant that I was in a bad mood and didn’t deem to serve you, and start asking yourself why you neither noticed I was bleeding or why you thought someone who was obviously both angry and very busy was a in the right state to ask them for clothing options.
Shop was closed, sorry you missed it being open. Please don’t leave it to the last minute in future if you need something from me in person.
