Mostly I looked it up because it seemed negligent not to mention deaths on the news. Bit impractical on a national level it seems.

@corvidy Yep. According to CIA World Factbook 9.34 deaths per 1000 vs 12.22 births per 1000.

That’s the annual death rate per thousand, multiplied to match population, divided by 365. About 595000 annually.

Wow, I was an order of magnitude off. Thought it’s be hundreds. Apparently number of people who die per day in the UK is about 1631.
