Worst case I guess I could just silver-solder the adaptor in place and greatly increase the connecting surface area.

I need some sort of pressure limiter and don’t want that hanging off 5mm of brass thread.

Dismantling a refrigeration vac pump manifold however yields a flare to 1/8bsp fitting. But the thread is worryingly short.

I suspect to enforce safe standards of practice in the HVAC industry, 1/4 flare to BSP adaptors are not a thing.

I’ll have to dig through the secret stash of pneumatic connectors at the space this weekend. I think there’s a needle valve in there.
